ALL NEW 2012 Isuzu D-Max Coming To Malaysia

The all new Isuzu D-Max will start selling probably in the 3rd quarter of 2012 here in Malaysia……which is a little later after the launch of the all new Chevrolet Colorado, Ford Ranger and the new Ssangyong Actyon pickup. This new class  award winning truck will offer a broad range of equipment such as auto air conditioning, daytime running lights, electric windows and front, side and curtain airbags. It might also come with projector headlamps, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, 16” alloy wheels and body-colored bumpers for the top model.

Powering the all-new Isuzu D-Max will be a very fuel efficienct 2.5-litre twin-turbo common rail diesel engine, offered with a recently-developed six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmissions. The sophisticated Euro5-compliant unit produces 163 PS and has a peak torque output of 400 Nm at 1400 rpm. In addition, the Isuzu D-Max presents a new ‘shift-on-the-fly’ system, permitting the driver to make adjustments between two- and four-wheel drive modes while driving at speeds a fast as 60 mph. The all-new Isuzu D-Max is the most comprehensively developed, most efficient and most refined Isuzu pick-up ever built. It is also a very capable load-lugger with a three-ton (braked) towing capacity and a 1,000-kg payload capacity
