Bison Savanna Pickup In Malaysia from RM79,888.00 for the 4×4 model

Angka-Tan Motor Sdn Bhd (ATM) has just launched its advanced technology with high performance 2WD and 4WD Double-Cab Pickup, Bison Savanna, for the Malaysian market targeting both the commercial and recreational lifestyle segments. Unveiling the 2.8 litre pickup, Warisan TC Holdings chief executive officer, Mr. Ngu Ew Look, said ATM has set a target to capture about five percent market share of the pickup segment over the next two to three years.

The Bison Savanna is manufactured by Beiqi Foton Motor Co. Ltd., one of the world’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer. Ngu said the Bison Savanna incorporates the integration of the highly advanced and proven state-of-the-art technologies from global automotive components manufacturers from the USA and Germany.

“With all the excellent features, advanced technologies and powerful performance, the Savanna is an extraordinary breed that offers value for money. It is available immediately in two variants and three colours, and will be affordably priced from RM71,888.00 onwards for the 2-wheel drive and RM79,888.00 for the 4-wheel drive model,” he added.

The Savanna’s robust and powerful Euro 3 compliance 2.8L turbo charged with intercooler diesel engine is designed by Cummins Inc. of the USA, the world leader for diesel engines and manufactured by Foton-Cummins. The vehicle is fitted with 5-speed manual GETRAG transmission, which is produced by renowned transmission manufacturer, GETRAG from Germany. Meanwhile, the vehicle’s rear axle is from DANA, the transfer case for 4WD model is by BorgWarner of the USA, whereas the common rail fuel injection system and ABS are by BOSCH, Germany.

Its sleek design and rugged capability offer excellent safety and stability due to its reinforced frame structure. Its adaptability to various road conditions be it slippery, extremely muddy, rocky or bumpy provides great driving pleasure, confidence and safety assurance. This is because of its part-time 4WD system that allow one to choose the suitable mode according to road conditions, ranging from normal on-road use to extreme off-road use.

The vehicle offer spacious and comfortable interior with a unique blend of luxury and comfort in a well-furnished sedan-like interior. Its luxurious and quality lifestyle comfortable driving environment fittings include overhead lighting console and utilities storage compartment; pragmatic 5-speed gear shift lever for a responsive gears changing transmission; sporty and adjustable three-spoke steering wheel for better handling; power windows and remote central locking system, among many others.

Although the Savanna is a definite powerful workhorse, it also offers the owners the recreational lifestyle comfort with ultra-large loading area of 2.4m², which is larger than most of the pick-up in the same category. It has active and passive safety features such as anti-lock braking system (ABS) complete with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), dual air-bags, etc.
