LIQUI MOLY Relaunches Motorcycle Line
LIQUI MOLY has thoroughly revised its line of products for motorcycles. The German motor oil and additive specialist is now adding numerous new oils and additives to its line of products. We are also introducing a new system to facilitate orientation within our assortment. “With these new products we now offer a complete line of products for two-wheelers”, said Carlos Travé, General 2-Wheel Manager at LIQUI MOLY. “No one else offers such a comprehensive line of products for motorcycles.”
The relaunch also includes changing the name of the motorcycle line from “Racing” to “Motorbike”. The name “Racing” appealed particularly to sporty drivers, but all motorbike owners can profit from our products,” continued Carlos Trevé.
40 new products have been added to the motorbike line. Here LIQUI MOLY profits from its many years of experience in the automotive branch. In spite of the many differences between two and four-wheel vehicles, both have internal combustion engines. And precisely this is LIQUI MOLY’s core competency. A new item on the market is a complete series of motor oils for cross-country bikes. Moreover a 20W-50 HD oil and an economical 10W-40 oil have also been added.
With all its additives LIQUI MOLY offers a full range. In addition to the motorcycle additives already available, we are adding our Engine Flush for thoroughly cleaning the oil system when the oil is changed. In the area of gasoline additives, we are introducing our gasoline stabilizer to ensure that the bike starts well in spite of the old gasoline still in the tank after standing the entire winter. Another product is our Speed Additive to improve acceleration, particularly in the partial load range. And for radiators we have one additive to clean them from the inside and a second to reliably seal any leaks. Aside from LIQUI MOLY no other manufacturer offers additives exclusively for motorcycles in their product line.
“Our policy of offering everything in the chemical sector from one company also applies for the motorcycle segment”, declared Carlos Travé. This is why, in addition to motor oils and additives, LIQUI MOLY also offers transmission oils, air cleaner oil, fork oils, care products, chain cleaner, chain oil and even cleaner for helmet visors and leather balm for motorcycle leathers. This wide assortment makes LIQUI MOLY unique in the world of two-wheelers.
“With our motorcycle product relaunch we are also increasing the clarity in our line of motor oils”, said Carlos Travé.Because the motorbike line will now be divided up into two segments: Street and offroad. The offroad sector includes the segments: Motorbikes, ATV’s and snowmobiles. The street sector serves the segments: Motorbikes, scooters and go-carts. Two and four-stroke oils can be identified by the color of the container and the color of the label indicates at a glance whether the oil is a mineral based, semi-synthetic or fully synthetic oil or synthetic technology oil. This gives the line a clearer arrangement and makes it easier to find the right oil quickly.
This relaunch is supported by race driver Sandro Cortese. LIQUI MOLY was the premium sponsor for the Moto3 World Championships in 2012. “All bikers are important for us: Whether motorcycle race driver or Harley cruiser, offroader or scooter rider”, said Carlos Travé. “We want everyone to have fun and enjoy their passion.”
