Ferrari 458 At The 6th Round Of The Championship
The Scuderia Villorba Corse race team clinched some valuable points and, above all, improved its performances in a very demanding 6th round of the Blancpain Sprint Series at Zolder. Behind the wheel of the Villorba Ferrari 458 Italian Alessandro Balzan and Czech Filip Salaquarda were able to increase their pace during the whole weekend and were about to set the fastest lap of Sunday’s main race. After their great recovering from 13th to 9th in the qualifying race on Saturday, the Villorba Corse crew made another good comeback up to the 7th position despite the narrow layout of the Belgian track where overtaking is so difficult.
“After Saturday’s qualifying race we clinched the best possible result again, says Raimondo Amadio, Team Principal. We have further improved our performances on a very difficult circuit to our technical package. We still managed to fiercely fight with our opponents being very aggressive, especially in this main race.”
