PETRONAS DYNAMIC DIESEL’S FUEL EFFICIENCY AND RELIABILITY ON DISPLAY IN PETRONAS’ ‘EXPERIENCE TO BELIEVE’
PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) kicked-off phase two of its Xpedisi Dynamic PETRONAS with a one-day 4×4 expedition and convoy in Terengganu. The programme, which forms part of the overall PETRONAS ‘Experience To Believe’ campaign, represents the Company’s efforts to further boost product understanding and customer appreciation for PETRONAS Dynamic Diesel.
One hundred participants from 4×4 car clubs, showroom and service centres joined in the convoy and got to experience and review the PETRONAS Dynamic Diesel first-hand on the road while also taking part in several exciting activities. They were treated to an action-packed one-day programme, covering a 100km journey from PETRONAS Station Kuala Berang to PETRONAS Station Batu Rakit with a checkpoint at PETRONAS Station Chendering.
The quality of PETRONAS Dynamic Diesel was on show throughout the journey and participants got to experience the superior fuel efficiency that stems from the increased reliability that PETRONAS Dynamic Diesel delivers. The technology behind PETRONAS Dynamic Diesel and PETRONAS Urania, the heavy duty engine oil, was developed by PETRONAS through its technical partnership with IVECO in the Dakar Rally for superior reliability in the world’s most extraordinary challenge.
With the help of PETRONAS Dynamic Diesel and PETRONAS Urania, the team won the Dakar 2012 and were runners-up in the Dakar 2014. Both products are developed through PETRONAS Fluid Technology SolutionsTM, using knowledge gained through customising fluid for the Dakar Rally’s heavy-duty truck engines which are the latest common-rail high-speed direct-injection diesel engines in line with everyday modern diesel cars, trucks and buses.
At the event, Shaharuddin Muhammad Sidek, Senior General Manager of Retail Business Division of PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad said, “PETRONAS Dynamic Diesel is a top-of-the-line product developed by experts in optimum conditions. We are very confident of its quality, hence, we want our customers to ‘Experience To Believe’ it for themselves. We will continue to conduct such programmes in the future so that even more consumers can experience the superior fuel efficiency of PETRONAS Dynamic Diesel.”
“Through this exercise, participants were able to experience the benefits of the PETRONAS Dynamic Diesel first hand and on the road. PETRONAS Dynamic Diesel is stable and clear, reduces foam formation, and has good filterability to help ensure reliability. Moreover, PETRONAS Dynamic Diesel cleans engine injectors, restores power loss, and ensures good driveability for superior fuel efficiency,” he added.
The 40 4×4 vehicles comprised of OEMs in the likes of Toyota, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Nissan and Ford as well as 4×4 enthusiasts from various car clubs flagged off at PETRONAS Station Kuala Berang at 9.00am, after fuelling up their cars with PETRONAS Dynamic Diesel. They engaged in several activities along the way that involved Kedai Mesra, lubricants survey as well as product testing that helped increase their understanding on a range of PETRONAS products and services.
Through a PETRONAS Urania Quiz and a product briefing, participants were also educated on the benefits of PETRONAS Urania. PETRONAS Urania is the heavy duty engine oil that is specially formulated with innovative base fluids technology and advanced low-ash additive system for outstanding engine performance.
