Infiniti To Introduce QX50 Crossover
Nissan’s luxury division, Infiniti, will be giving the new QX50 its global debut at the New York International Auto Show next month. Those of you who keep up with Infiniti might have noticed that this version of the QX50 used to be known as the EX37 before the company began using their new naming scheme.
The updated model that we’re about to see in New York was first revealed in China late last year, where it featured a 7-speed automatic paired to a 2.5 litre V6 capable of producing 235hp. It also had an elongated wheelbase for additional rear legroom as well as a few cosmetic changes.
The car will go on sale later on in the year, at least in North America, and will represent Infiniti in the personal crossover market.
The car maker is also planning on bringing out their QX30 Concept, which is targeted at the premium compact crossover segment. It was last shown in Geneva just a few weeks ago.
