Dakar Rally 2015 Preview, KTM Rider Casteu Looking For WIN

David Casteu made sure he was going to be present in next Desafío Ruta 40 to be held between May 17 and 23. Last year, the French competitor was the best one of the season and now goes for his third Dakar Series in a row. Names make Desafío Ruta 40 stronger and it promises with anticipation to cause a stir since many more names are adding up to the entry list of greatly experienced drivers to participate in the first round of the Argentine Championship of Cross Country Rally.

In this case, the two-times winner of Dakar Series, David Casteu confirmed his place on his KTM 450 to participate of the first long-duration raid of the year under a Dakar format in South America. The ELF competitor had a nice battle with Javier Pizzolito in his last participation in Desafío Ruta 40 which lasted to the last stage. Even though he could not get the first position, he managed a meritable second place which was then used to be the best positioned rider in the 2014 Dakar Series by repeating what he had done in 2013.

With these two titles under his arm and with an insatiable thirst of ongoing competition, the rider who finished in the seventh position in Dakar 2015 will be one of the riders to be beaten in the Desafío Ruta 40 in the Bikes category.
