Nissan Murano 2015 Model Wins BEST Interior
American magazine WardsAuto World put the new Murano on their ’10 Best Interior’ list for 2015. This award focuses on the car’s interior and is only given in North America. The cars covered in this list are new models or updated models that were released in 2014 in the North American market. Among these cars, the editors of WardsAuto World magazine chose those that had the best interior.
The criteria for judging include design, comfort, easy-to-understand driver information, and quality. Incidentally, the same magazine publishes the ‘Engine of the Year,’ considered to be the “Oscars” for automotive engines.
The Murano is Nissan’s ultra-luxury crossover vehicle. The third generation Murano was announced at the New York Auto Show in April 2014. It falls into the mid-size crossover vehicle segment and has been developed with the aim to establish a new standard. It puts emphasis on innovative design, premium interior, and advanced technologies.
WardsAuto World magazine assessed the new Murano’s interior and said, “The metallic accents look pretty adjacent to the beige interior. The new Murano brings drama to the mass-market mid-size crossover vehicle segment.”
