Orange Aston Martin Vulcan Exhibited in Germany

A bright orange version of the Aston Martin Vulcan was just spotted in Germany, and the new colour really makes this nearly £2 million car really stand out. The Vulcan, touted as a Ferrari FXX & McLaren P1 GTR killer, is powered not by an electric motor, nor a hybrid powertrain. It’s a petrol burner pure and simple. Well, maybe not THAT simple.

Under the orange hood, you’ll find a naturally aspirated 7-litre V12 which packs more than 800 bhp! This power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed sequential transmission from Xtrac resulting in a 0-100 time of less than 3 seconds and a max speed of 322km/h.

There’s plenty of stopping power as well. The carbon fibre brakes by Brembo utilise proven F1 technology with 6 pistons at the front and 4 at the rear.

For the time being, this orange beast of an Aston will reside by near a test centre by the Nürburgring.
