Christopher Ward – C60 Trident Pro Vintage In Steel & In Black

Christopher Ward - C60 Trident Pro Vintage Steel Edition & C60 Trident Pro Vintage Black Edition 1

Christopher Ward’s recently re-engineered C60 Trident collection set a new benchmark for the brand’s iconic dive collection – from the meticulous re-engineering of almost every part to the unprecedented expansion of choice for the customer with almost 250 options in combining movement, size, and colour, Trident was truly redefined. Now the comprehensively re-defined Trident is presented in two stunning new editions – the C60 Trident Pro Vintage Steel Edition and the C60 Trident Pro Vintage Black Edition (each in 38mm and 42mm options).

The Trident Pro models feature a comprehensively re-engineered case, watertight to 600 metres, encasing the fine Swiss made self-winding movement and providing a powerful platform for the matt-finish zirconia ceramic uni-directional bezel with a tetragonal structure that absorbs energy by expanding on impact, giving exceptional strength and protection.  The two stunning new case finishes in steel and black are completed by the ‘CW’ signature deep-stamped back-plate, ensuring all-round beauty.

In the two new models the Trident’s optimal engineering is now complemented with striking but subtly innovative aesthetic touches.  Firstly, the baton style indexes carry an intense new lume, SuperLuminova™ Old Radium Vintage, to deliver significantly enhanced visibility.

The vintage theme is further echoed in the sandblasting of the hands and indices, complementing the matt bezel and creating a patina redolent of times past.  This atmospheric effect can be further enhanced through the option of the handcrafted, vintage leather strap or, alternatively, can be dialled-down with the option of the classic stainless steel bracelet, adding a more contemporary balance.

The second new Trident model, the C60 Trident Pro Vintage Black Edition (42mm), exuding a dynamic air, particularly when presented in its multi-textured combination of black dial, case, bezel and black PVD stainless steel bracelet.

The new models (38mm and 42mm) are offered with the options of the Vintage Italian leather strap with CW motif buckle – from £599 – or 316L Marine grade bracelet with diver’s extension and classic steel or black PVD finish – from £660 – and are available on pre-order, for mid-September.
