A Night With The Ducati Corse MotoGP Riders
Next Bike Sdn Bhd welcomed the Ducati Corse MotoGP Riders to a special Meet & Greet Evening held at Mezza9 Publika Hartamas with a select group of Ducatistis, from owners to dealers to media friends, in celebration and support of the team’s efforts in MotoGP 2015.
This special evening is a precursor of Naza World Group of Companies’ commitment to Ducati Corse team’s endeavour at the Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix 2015 edition this weekend, where they are returning to Sepang International Circuit after extensive winter testing earlier in the year.
“NAZA World and Next Bike will spearhead a myriad of activities at Sepang International Circuit throughout the 3-day affair, ranging from a Ducati showcase, as well as, a dedicated sale and merchandise booth where Ducatistis stand to be enticed with exciting offers and special gifts with purchase of motorcycles, merchandise and parts” said Datuk Wira HJ SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, Group Executive Chairman, Naza World Group of Companies.
On the sporting front, Mr. Pierfrancesco Scalzo, Ducati Asia’s General Manager was glad to share that, “Being the second-last round of the championship, Andrea ‘Dovi’ Dovizioso comes to Malaysia with two podium experiences prior that he intends to repeat, while it will only be the second MotoGP for Andrea ‘The Maniac’ Iannone who is still high on the recent podium finish at Phillip Island. We are proud that NAZA World and Next Bike, as Ducati’s official distributor in Malaysia, fully supports our endeavour, and we look forward to dedicating a podium to them!”
The Meet & Greet saw Dovi and The Maniac getting up close and personal with exclusively-selected supporters in return for their die-hard support of the team over the years. Both Andreas went on to also put their priceless autographs on 2 units of the ‘Monster 821 Ducati Corse MotoGP Limited Edition 2015’, whilst autographing other memorabilia, merchandise and riding gear brought by their supporters.
Datuk Wira HJ SM Faisal Tan Sri Nasimuddin added, “Both autographed units of the Monster 821 Ducati Corse MotoGP Limited Edition will have its owners specially-selected through a random ballot from all individuals who have placed their interest and commitment to purchase the bike since we opened up offer for sales recently. The icing on the cake? The owners will get to purchase them at the recommended retail price. No premiums added, not a single Ringgit more!”
Datuk Wira HJ SM Faisal hosted the Meet & Greet, together with Mr. David Hector Ratnaike (Senior Vice President II, Auto Division), Mr. Chris Lee (Vice President 1, Group Executive Chairman Office, NAZA World Corp. Services Sdn Bhd), Mr. Chin Mun Fei and Mr. Samir Sharman (Head of Company – Next Bike Sdn. Bhd), and graciously welcomed Mr. Paolo Ciabatti, Ducati Corse’s Sporting Director together with the Riders, as well as, representatives of Ducati Motor (Thailand) Mr. Pierfrancesco Scalzo (General Manager – Asia), Mr. Marco Biondi (Regional Director, Asia), Mr. David James (Marketing Director, Asia) and Mr. Stefano Campaci (Marketing Representative, Asia).
NAZA World is actively-involved and ultra-supportive of both local and international motorsports endeavours, and are equivocal in helping spearhead Malaysia’s sports tourism success. To that effect, Next Bike is hot on the heels of several exciting campaigns to debut soon.
