Although the engine delivers very similar output figures as the 1.5-litre that goes in the City and Jazz, the BR-V’s engine reaches peak power at 6000RPM instead of 6600RPM at the expense of hitting peak torque at 4700RPM instead of 4600.

The BR-V also utilises an ‘Earth Dreams Technology”-inspired CVT transmission and features a relatively spacious and comfortable cabin with design motifs not dissimilar to those found on the Jazz and City as well. It’s equipped with dual SRS airbags, ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Vehicle Stability Assist and Hill Start Assist.

In Thailand at least, Honda will make the BR-V available in a 5 colours: Premium Amber Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, White Orchid Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl. A 6.1″ touch screen is also featured, a Modulo bodykit comes optional and the 3rd row of seats can be forgone for additional cargo space.
