Renault Car Prices to Remain the Same in Malaysia in 2016
TC Euro Cars, the sole franchise holder for Renault cars in Malaysia, today announced that it will not be raising the prices for Renault cars in 2016.
The current pricing will be maintained across the full Renault line-up in Malaysia despite the unfavourable foreign exchange that is impacting imported vehicles and components as well as increasing production costs.
The locally-assembled Renault Fluence Expression and Dynamique 2-liter four-door sedan variants will continue to retail at RM108,888 and RM119,888 respectively. Recognised for its strength and reliability, the Fluence is powered by a 2.0L petrol engine which drives through the new-generation X-Tronic CVT automatic transmission to combine a seamless, jar-free ride with sprightly driving pleasure.
The turbo-charged New Renault Clio GT Line five-door hatch, which is CBU from Turkey, remains at the price of RM118,000. Offering superior handling and exceptional fuel efficiency, this popular mainstream version of the Clio is perfect for discerning keen drivers who desire the racy looks of the high-performance R.S. model.
Renault’s first urban crossover and Europe’s best-selling compact SUV model – the fashionable and versatile New Captur – is maintained at RM123,000. CBU from Spain, the Captur stands out from the crowd by offering the high driving position of an SUV, the modular interior of an MPV and the agile driving pleasure of a sedan. Its expressive styling, comprehensive safety package and remarkable fuel-efficiency makes it ideal for young families and today’s modern man and woman.
Offering rugged elegance, clever technologies and great comfort, the full-imported Renault Koleos SUV, which is a CBU from Korea, will continue to retail at RM178,888.
The well-recognised Megane R.S. 265 models – born from Renault Sport’s engineering expertise through the success of motorsport racing – is priced at RM197,888 for the Sport variant and RM234,888 for the Cup.

All Renault cars in Malaysia have service intervals of 10,000km or six months, whichever comes first and with the exception of the R.S. and EV models, come with a five-year unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty, which unlike other new vehicle extended warranties, is fully-backed by Renault for enhanced ease of ownership as there are fewer complications with terms and conditions.
Additionally, the Renault Fluence comes with the 5inFLUENCE worry-free maintenance package which includes a 5-year full manufacturer’s warranty, 5-year free maintenance*, 1-year genuine parts warranty, free pick-up service for every scheduled servicing and a courtesy car when the customer’s Fluence stays at the service centre for more than 48 hours.
