BMW ALPINA C1 2.3. Classic Sports Sedan

This two door sedan was based on the classic BMW E21 3 series. Only 533 cars were built and its engine was borrowed from the larger sibling, the BMW 528i which also shared its 5-speed Getrag gearbox.

In proper tune this engine will produce 167bhp and a possible top speed of 208km/h. Not bad for its time and even today if you can find an original unit There were a couple running around Klang Valley in the early 1970’s and we do believe that both are still surviving, probably well kept in a covered garage in a unassuming neighborhood with little thought of its real value today.
