Proton Recalls Inspira and Selected Exora CPS Models

Proton has issued a recall notice for Inspira units built between 2010 and 2014. The defective part in question is the right turn indicator switch supplied by Mitsubishi Motors.

At the same time, Proton is also talking the opportunity to advise all owners of Exora CPS 1.6 MPVs  manufactured between 2009 and 2015 to bring their cars in for a precautionary inspection of the fuel-line in the powertrain compartment.

The recalls are expected to affect 20,330 Inspiras and approximately 90,000 Exora units. All labour and parts relating to these rectification works will be borne by Proton entirely. Customers are advised to call Proton’s Customer Care Hotline 1-800-888-398 or email [email protected] for any enquiries and assistance. Customers can also visit their website or www.carinquiry.proton.com to check if their car is involved in this inspection.
