Tesla and SolarCity Merger be Initiated By the End of the Year
Tesla and SolarCity have set the 17th of November as the date of its shareholder meeting to vote on combining the companies. If approved by shareholders, the resulting company will provide the first ever opportunity to generate, store and consume energy entirely sustainably. Energy from the sun, straight to the wheels.
Expect more important updates from both companies, such as a solar roof product and Powerwall 2.0 – both designed to demonstrate the kind of technologies that can be created when Tesla and SolarCity combine resources.
