NIO EP9 is the fastest electric vehicle round the Nürburgring – but needs a 45-minute charge after that Only six will ever be built at a cost of USD1.2 million each. They’re all being given to investors in the company.

Unlike Tesla models, the batteries are not stored across the floor but are housed in the sills instead.

It takes 45 minutes to recharge or the batteries can be ejected and replaced with fresh ones in 8 minutes.
