Volkswagen Passat Comfortline PLUS and Trendline PLUS Now Available Locally
Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) today introduced two new additions to the Passat family, the Trendline PLUS and Comfortline PLUS.
With upgrades in appearance and interior offering, the Passat PLUS adds a sportier touch to Volkswagen’s already popular D-segment sedan. The perfect testament of affordability and refinement, this introduction further emphasises VPCM’s commitment in providing added value to its customers.
The Passat PLUS sports luxurious leather seats, 17” Istanbul alloy wheels, and window tint worth RM8,000 for the Trendline, while the stylish upgrades for the Comfortline are upsized 18” Monterey alloy wheels and window tint, valued at RM12,000.
For a limited time till the 30th of September 2017, the Passat PLUS is offered with a special interest rate from as low as 0.88% on hire purchase loans with the durations of five to nine years. To provide maximum peace of mind to customers, the entire Passat range, including the PLUS, also comes with 5-year free maintenance, or 75,000km (whichever comes first) with registrations by the 30th of September 2017.
The Passat PLUS variants are each powered by a 1.8L turbocharged TSI engine with a 7-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG) to give an impressive output of 180PS and a torque of 250Nm between 1,250 to 5,000rpm, with an impressive fuel consumption of approximately 5.7l/100 km.
Features that make the Passat even more attractive include start/stop function, regenerative braking, electric parking brake with auto hold function and with 3-zone climatronic air conditioning for comfort. Its high level of safety features includes six airbags, driver alert system and front fog lights with cornering light functions.
The Passat Trendline PLUS retails at RM144,990, while the Passat Comfortline PLUS is RM169,980.
