Asia Supermoto Championship Indonesia Circuit Unveiled
The 2017 FIM Asia SuperMoto Championship – Indonesia happening at The Park Mall, Kota Surakarta this weekend will showcase a challenging circuit for competing riders. The 800-meter length with a 150-meter double table-top off-road section after the third and seventh turn will be a show-stopper as riders brave through the tight circuit.
“We have always embraced a quality race. Raising the standard in every round will challenge our riders to perform better, ultimately elevating the standard of the championship and the sport in Asia. We hope that visitors and viewers around the world will enjoy the race on this unique circuit,” said Andrew Ching, Chief Executive Officer of E-Plus Global, organiser of the FIM Asia SuperMoto Championship.
Due to the unpredictable weather in Indonesia, choosing the right tires for the track will be critical. However, coming out tops in the Qualifying and SuperChrono Rounds can determine the fate of the rider. Taking a front position on the grid in Moto 1 and Moto 2 will be advantageous on this tight track.
The 2017 FIM Asia SuperMoto Championship will commence at The Park Mall, Kota Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia on 14 and 15 October 2017, from 10:00AM – 6:00PM.
