Modenas Dominar D400 Now in Malaysia – RM13,788
Modenas has officially launched its latest motorcycle, the Dominar D400. The sports tourer is the fourth model to emerge from the company’s collaboration with Bajaj after the Pulsar NS200, RS200 and V15.
The new model is powered by a 373 cc single-cylinder engine with Digital Triple Spark Ignition (DTS-i) technology that churns out 35 hp at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Power is channeled to the rear wheel through a six-speed manual transmission with a slipper clutch.
The suspension system comprises of a 43-mm telescopic front fork and a multi-step adjustable mono-shock at the rear, while braking is provided by a two-channel ABS. With a curb weight of 182 kg and a 13-litre fuel tank, the bike is ideal for both short excursions and long-distance tours.
Additionally, the Dominar D400 is also equipped with LED headlight and taillight, as well as dual LCD displays.
Pricing for Modenas’ newest offering starts from RM13,788 (excluding GST). The bike comes with a 2-year/24,000-km warranty.
