Inaugural MazdaSports Academy a Hit with Mazda Owners
MazdaSports Academy’s very first ownership experience programme Advance Driving, which was held at MAEPS, Serdang was a hit. Initially set to take place only on June 9, 2018 (Saturday), the programme was extended for another day to June 10, 2018 (Sunday) due to overwhelming response.
With the heartening response, MazdaSports Division was determined to enrich more Mazda owner’s driving experience. Forty of the owners came mostly from the Klang Valley, but a number travelled from Melaka, Johor, and even Terengganu to experience “Jinba Ittai” and to discover their own driving potential.
After a day on the dynamic driving practical course, the owners enjoyed a Time Trial Challenge to test their driving skills and agility. They were presented with a certificate of accomplishment upon successful completion.
MazdaSports Division will be designing more “Advance Driving” programmes which will be either model specific or by categories based on vehicle drivetrain, powertrain and dimensions. Programmes tailored specifically for Mazda’s SUV range and iconic roadster, the MX-5, are currently underway.
