PROTON Announces Free Replacement Oil Cooler Hose on Turbocharged Models

Following the announcement made by PROTON Holdings Berhad during the ‘My New PROTON’ event held recently, the Company has announced a Service Fix Improvement Initiatives on the Oil Cooler Hose for its turbo-charged CFE engine car models.

PROTON Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Abdul Harith Abdullah said, “In response to the feedback from our customers, the Management of PROTON has taken precautionary step to provide Service Fix on the Oil Cooler Hose in all its turbo-charged powered models. The models involve are the Proton Exora, Suprima S and Prevé. This initiative is undertaken as part of our brand new promise and our continuous commitment in engaging with the customers’.”

“We are communicating with our customers via SMS blast and letters with regards to this matter. As this is a serviceable item, the customers need not worry because when they send their cars for servicing, the Oil Cooler Hose will be changed by the authorised Service Centre if the car has reached 40,000 km. The reliability of our vehicles under PROTON Quality Assurance Programme is important to us,” he added.

Owners of these models with mileage reaching 40,000 km and above are advised to contact any authorized PROTON service centres to book an appointment for a free inspection. All labour and parts costs related to the issue will be provided at no charge at our authorized service centres nationwide.
