VW Bugfest 2016 @ Summit Subang
This is the biggest and the most recognised Volkswagen gathering in Malaysia. Already a yearly affair, these air-cooled VW owners never fail to attend and bring their loved ones (cars, camper vans, jeeps and even some very rare Karmann Ghia models) to this yearly affair.
It is not all just about the humble Beetle.
The VW Camper van is also a favorite, from the new to the really old.
And you can also find spare parts and what you need to keep your classic VW running and looking as new as possible.
Some want to go back in time when the ‘tyrant’ ordered the making of the Beetle.
Even the very young have a love for the classic Beetle.
But not all modifications are loved…..some are even beyond belief.
You also find the very rare and desirable which many want….but cannot get…..even when money is not an issue. Just too rare!
It is a fun Sunday afternoon to meet with old friends, make new friends and see some well loved classics.
You even get to meet the old and the not so old…… (pictured above) father and son who have a common love for the classic Volkswagen.
Then there is the very desirable ‘Cal Look’ Beetle.
Some owners have gone as far as possible to keep their Volkswagen looking like it has never aged. A true museum piece.
