Demak Launches 8 New Motorcycles and 4 New Utility Vehicles

DNC Asiatic Holdings, the official manufacturer and assembler of Demak motorcycles, has officially launched eight new models that form the brand’s 2017 lineup.

Six of the offerings, namely the Ezio 100, Kobra 110, Explor 150, Explorer 150, Ace 150 and Sprinter 125, are newcomers in the Malaysian market, while both the D90 and D7 come as facelifted models. All of the models are assembled locally.

DNC Asiatic Holdings executive director Hu Ying said the new models are set to enter the market soon and will be available at all Demak dealerships across the country.

The company also introduced four new utility vehicles; 4 Runner, Eco 3 (petrol and electric) and E Trois. 4 Runner is a vehicle for heavy work that is suitable for small plantation and construction sectors, while Eco 3 is a three-wheeler developed for those looking to start a small business.

Both models are equipped with GPS, LED solar panels, a 200cc with a range of 300 km per full tank, and for the electric variant, a lithium battery that is good for 100 to 150 km.

The launching ceremony that was held at DNC Asiatic’s plant in Olak Lempit, Banting, also saw the signing of a joint venture agreement between Demak Green-Tech Sdn Bhd and Qingdao Aucma, one of the largest manufacturers of refrigeration products in Asia, for the installation of freezers on utility vehicles produced by Demak.
