Yes, it’s a Chinese car manufacturer. That alone is enough to deter most people from giving this new SUV a second thought. But before you prejudge it, consider the fact that these guys are funding Volvo passenger cars. It’s pretty likely that the ‘no such thing as a free lunch rule’ might apply here. Volvo have been busy developing some seriously advanced tech for their resurgence and there’s a fat chance that it’ll trickle its way into Geely’s own production cars.
Even if it doesn’t, you can’t argue that their upcoming Bo Yue has the looks to contend with most of its European counterparts.
