As part of the hybrid offensive strategy, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia today announces the availability of the new Mercedes-Benz E350e, its top of the range model with the superior hybrid technology in two variants – AMG Line and Exclusive Line, as well as a limited model, the E350e Edition 60.
Equipment-wise, the E 350 e Exclusive Line features the classic Mercedes look with an interior featuring high-grade materials such as Nappa leather upholstery and best-in-class features including the Burmester surround sound system and Widescreen Cockpit.
The AMG Line lends a commanding presence with its distinctive and striking design through the AMG body styling and 19-inch AMG five-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels and the dynamic and sporty interior with metal weave trim, and AMG sports steering wheel.
Limited to only 60 units at launch, the Edition 60 features exclusive and luxurious options including 19-inch 6-spoke light alloy wheels, Exclusive Line interior package with designo piano lacquer in black with flowing lines, designo two-tone macchiato beige and saddle brown interior, key in high-gloss white with ornamental surround in matt chrome, with the exclusive Edition 60 badge featured on the front fenders and centre console.
Like the C350e, the E350e is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces a total system output of 286 hp and 550 Nm of torque in conjunction with an electric motor. Equipped with a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission, the sedan is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h.
Despite the performance, the E350e returns a combined fuel consumption of just 2.1 litres per 100 km while combined CO2 emissions are rated at 49 grams per km.
The car comes standard with Airbody Control air suspension that can be made more comfortable or sporty via the Dynamic Select system which offers Comfort, Sport and Sport+ modes. Multibeam LED headlamps, COMAND Online as well as Parking Pilot with 360 degree camera are also included.
Prices for the E350e start at RM392,888 for the Exclusive Line, RM395,888 for the AMG Line and RM408,888 for the Edition 60.
