Traffic Disruption To Take Place In Klang Starting Today
Take note of this Klang traffic diversion if you usually drive in the area
Traffic Disruption Notice (Staged Lane Closure) at Jalan Parang and Jalan Kurau for Road Repair Work (Mill & Pave). For Project to Upgrade North Harbor Road From KCT To Northport, Klang Port. From 26 February 2024 At 8PM to 6 March 2024 At 6AM. All Difficulties Are Deeply Regretted.
The above notice has been put out and for anyone who drives in the area or lives nearby then take note as this road is definitely not going to be used for your drives. It also covers a large area that cuts through the Klang River and means that going from one side to the other is no longer an easy drive.
Moreover, the work area for this disruption mainly takes up the space on Jalan Parnag from around the Kobena Warehouse area going all the way up to Mangrove Point and the road leading to Vesuvius Malaysia sdn bhd. This covers both sides of the road going in and outward from this line.
Basically, even if one were to take the road coming towards Jalan Parang from Vesuvius or Pipeco Tanks Malaysia sdn bhd on the opposite side of the road then they would still be inevitably caught in the roadworks so avoid taking this road in general. It would be easier to go outward from Kobena Warehouse away from the disruption.
Of course, this also means that if one would be driving outward from Kobena Warehouse then there would be no issues whatsoever, since the road disruption does not affect that part of the road towards TCL Logistic. Now, it also makes crossing from one side of the Klang River to the other more difficult as well.
On top of that, while this road disruption is definitely going to cause a lot of problems for many people who live and work in the area or need to use this stretch of road for work, it is only temporary and will end on Wednesday, 6 March 2024 early in the morning at 6 am, so just tough it out until then.
So the gist of it is this, the road disruption is going to cause a lot of trouble for anyone in the Klang area and especially around this stretch of road which is one of the busier roads that most people will use daily but we need these disruptions to maintain the roads well so we have to just accept it.
