Ford Ranger Getaways Offers More 4×4 Skills Training And Off-Road Adventures
Ford Ranger Getaways is helping more 4×4 owners sharpen their skills again
Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor of Ford in Malaysia, announces a new series of Ford Ranger Getaways for owners. The first event, the Ranger 4×4 Off-Road Course and Water Rafting Thrills, taking place on 20 April 2024, in Kampung Ulu Slim, Perak.
Following this will be the Sarawak 4×4 Training Academy (Sar4Trac) Beginner 4WD Course on 27 April 2024, in Kampung Barieng, Bau, Sarawak. These beginner-level 4WD courses return due to positive feedback from past attendees, such as the M4TREC Beginner 4WD Course in March.
Moreover, participants appreciated the quality of instruction, practical sessions, and the chance to test skills in a controlled environment. The M4TREC Beginner 4WD Course caters to both novice and experienced drivers, offering essential off-roading knowledge and techniques to unlock the full potential of Ranger and Ranger Raptors.
SDAC-Ford also hosted a two-day test-drive event in Saradise, Kuching, in March, providing customers the chance to experience Next-Gen Ranger and Raptor models on a specially designed off-road track. Attendees also tested the Next-Gen Everest Sport on an on-road route. These will be very beneficial for 4×4 owners in the long run as they will manoeuvre their cars better.
Both events also allowed customers to network with fellow Ranger owners and enthusiasts. Turse Zuhair, Managing Director of SDAC-Ford, encourages Ranger owners to join these sessions to enhance their driving skills and explore their vehicle’s features. This is also a great way to make friends with like minded individuals.
On top of that, the Ranger 4×4 Off-Road Course and Water Rafting Thrills blend off-roading with whitewater rafting along Slim River in Perak. Participants here will test their 4×4 skills before embarking on a thrilling rafting journey. This activity is surely going to be the most fun as it also allows them to get out of their 4×4 and brave nature without their trusty pickup trucks.
The Sar4Trac Beginner 4WD Course, open to two people per vehicle, helps owners maximise their Rangers and Raptors, catering to enthusiasts and new owners alike. Participants will receive hands-on training in navigating obstacles and receive a Certificate of Completion. This course will help the most with navigating daily life.
Aside from organised trips, customers can opt for independent getaways. Slots for all Ford Ranger Getaways are limited, available on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you are an owner, then don’t miss out on this golden opportunity.
