Toyota makes the iconic Supra even more track focused and feature packed now
UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (Toyota) has unveiled the GR Supra Track Edition, the latest addition to its Gazoo Racing (GR) lineup. This new variant builds upon the legendary Supra heritage, delivering sharper handling, advanced chassis upgrades, and motorsport-inspired styling to meet the demands of track-focused driving.
As the flagship of Toyota’s performance range, the GR Supra has long embodied the brand’s racing DNA. The new Track Edition refines that formula further with a series of performance enhancements, including a 388 PS 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine producing 500 Nm of torque.
Moreover, paired to either a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic with paddle shifters, it completes the century sprint in just 4.1 seconds for the automatic. Key performance upgrades include retuned adaptive variable suspension for improved grip and enhanced electric power steering and a limited slip differential (LSD) for sharper feedback.
You also get reinforced front control arms and negative camber adjustment for increased agility and a larger 374mm front brake discs with Brembo 4-piston calipers for consistent stopping power as well as lightweight 19-inch matte black forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres as well.
Aerodynamic improvements such as a carbon fibre ducktail spoiler, expanded aero flaps and front underlip spats also increase downforce and high-speed stability. Inside, the Track Edition offers a driver-centric cabin featuring black Alcantara and leather with Toyota GR embroidery, red seat belts and a red-ringed shift knob for the manual model.
On top of that, a 12-speaker JBL surround system, colour head-up display and multimedia touchscreen complete the premium, race-inspired interior. Safety remains a priority, with the Supra Safety systems including Pre-Collision Warning with Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning with Steering Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Monitoring.
