Xpeng Sells 230% More EVs So Far In 2025 Compared To Same Period In 2024

Xpeng announced its delivery results for 2025 so far and it looks great

Xpeng, a leading Chinese Smart EV company, has revealed its impressive vehicle delivery results for May 2025, showcasing significant growth and continuing success in the EV market. In May, Xpeng delivered an outstanding 33,525 Smart EVs, reflecting a remarkable year-over-year growth of 230 percent.

This marks the seventh consecutive month that Xpeng has surpassed 30,000 units delivered, further solidifying its position as one of the top players in the rapidly expanding EV industry. Over the first five months of 2025, Xpeng’s total vehicle deliveries reached 162,578 units, an impressive 293 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024.

Moreover, one of the standout moments for Xpeng in May was the launch of the highly anticipated MONA M03 Max on 28 May. The MONA M03 Max is a groundbreaking vehicle that lowers the entry barrier for urban AI smart driving technology, making it more accessible to a wider audience.

With a price point starting at just RMB150,000 (roughly USD20,821), the MONA M03 Max brings advanced vehicle technology into a more affordable range, making it especially appealing to younger, tech-savvy users who are eager to embrace the future of transportation.

What sets the MONA M03 Max apart is its inclusion of Xpeng’s cutting-edge AI technology, specifically the Tianji XOS 5.7.0. This is also the first Xpeng model to be equipped with this advanced system, offering users over 300 new features that enhance both the driving experience and the vehicle’s smart capabilities.

On top of that, the Tianji XOS 5.7.0 not only improves the overall performance of the vehicle but also represents a major leap forward in AI-driven automotive technology, further establishing Xpeng as a leader in the smart EV space. In addition to the MONA M03 Max launch, Xpeng’s urban driving capabilities have continued to impress.

The company’s XNGP system achieved an impressive 85 percent penetration rate among active users for urban driving in May 2025. This highlights the growing trust and adoption of Xpeng’s advanced driving assistance systems.

One of the key features introduced with the MONA M03 Max is its human-machine co-driving capability, which allows for seamless collaboration between the driver and the ADAS features. This technology enables both the driver and the vehicle’s AI systems to share control, providing a smoother and more efficient driving experience.
