Is this really the selling price of the Chery Tiggo Cross Crossover
We spotted an advertisement for the soon to be launched Tiggo Cross and its is very very very surprising as it is very very very close to the popular Perodua Ativa.
Earlier statements mentioned that the Chery Tiggo Cross is expected to have a selling price below RM100,000 in Malaysia which was assumed to be in the RM95 to RM98k range.
The Tiggo Cross will be offered in two variants, a 1.5L turbo and a 1.5L HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle), both of which will be locally assembled (CKD). The official launch and pricing details are expected to be announced this July 2025.

Meanwhile, in this segment, the other key rivals are as follows.
Proton X50: A popular and established compact SUV in Malaysia, the all new X50 is a direct competitor in terms of size and target market. The current range is priced at RM86,300, RM93,300, RM101,800 and RM113,300 respectively.
Honda WR-V: A relatively new entrant in the compact SUV segment, the WR-V is also positioned as an affordable option, making it a strong rival for the Tiggo Cross. With prices ranging from RM 89,900 to RM 107,900
Perodua Ativa: While slightly smaller than the Tiggo Cross, the Ativa is a popular and highly affordable compact SUV, making it a potential alternative for budget-conscious buyers.
Prices for the Perodua Ativa range from RM 61,500 to RM 72,000.
Honda HR-V: Although positioned slightly higher in the market than the Tiggo Cross, the HR-V is another Honda competitor in the compact SUV space, offering a more premium experience.
Hyundai Creta: The Creta, while also in the compact SUV category, sits at a higher price point than the Tiggo Cross, potentially appealing to a different segment of buyers. Priced from RM96k recently.
Lets be patient and see if this selling price gets confirmed at the launch this month …… which will create a stir in the Malaysian car market ….. new and also used.
