Maserati MCPURA Supercar Debuts at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025
Maserati has officially unveiled its latest supercar, the MCPURA, at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed—marking a bold evolution of the iconic MC20. This striking new model redefines performance, elegance, and Italian craftsmanship, all powered by Maserati’s signature 630 CV V6 Nettuno engine.

Handcrafted in Modena, the MCPURA represents the pinnacle of Maserati engineering and design. It blends extreme driving dynamics with refined aesthetics and a heightened sense of connection between car and driver. The name “MCPURA” reflects this ethos—purity of power, precision, and the essence of the Trident spirit.

The MCPURA is available in both coupé and convertible Cielo versions, both featuring a carbon-fibre monocoque chassis, ensuring exceptional lightness and rigidity. Tipping the scales at under 1,500 kg, the MCPURA achieves a class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 2.33 kg/CV. The 3.0-litre twin-turbo Nettuno V6, delivering 630 CV and 720 Nm of torque, is equipped with Formula 1-derived pre-chamber combustion technology for superior performance and responsiveness.

Design updates take centre stage with a focus on bespoke materials and finishes. The show car at Goodwood wore a stunning Ai Aqua Rainbow paint—a vibrant, light-reactive hue created through the Maserati Fuoriserie customisation program. The magenta-accented Trident badges and laser-etched Alcantara Ice seats reinforce the car’s futuristic yet artisanal identity.

Additional standout features include dramatic Butterfly doors and, for the convertible, a retractable PDLC glass roof—which transitions from opaque to transparent in one second, offering a transformative driving experience.

Buyers can choose from a broad palette of over 30 exterior colours, including exclusive new shades like Devil Orange, Verde Royale, and Night Interaction. Each MCPURA is hand-assembled at Maserati’s historic Viale Ciro Menotti plant in Modena, also home to the production of the GT2 Stradale, GranTurismo, and GranCabrio.

In essence, the MCPURA is the MC20 but with a focus on the design details and aerodynamic surfaces, a new Ai Aqua Rainbow launch colour, 30 new colour, material and trim options, a Magenta Trident with Blue Mica on the grille, C-pillar and wheels, as well as laser-etched Alcantara Ice seats.
