The MG Cyberster gets an even more attractive price now in Malaysia
MG Motor Malaysia proudly introduces the MG Cyberster RWD, a new rear-wheel drive variant of its fully electric sports car, now priced from RM299,900. Designed to offer a more accessible entry into the electric roadster segment, the MG Cyberster RWD combines eye-catching design with thrilling performance and advanced EV technology.
This sporty MG convertible features electric scissor doors and is powered by a 340PS electric motor delivering 475Nm of torque, enabling a century sprint time of just 5 seconds. A 77kWh battery offers a driving range of up to 508km and supports DC fast charging from 10 to 80 percent in only 38 minutes.
Moreover, the car rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and features Brembo brakes for enhanced driving confidence. The MG Cyberster RWD retains the sleek, low-slung body and signature Kammback tail of its 4WD sibling. Distinctive arrow-shaped LED tail lights and a racing-inspired interior with leather and Alcantara accents enhance its sporty appeal.
Inside, drivers enjoy a high-tech cockpit with a tri-wraparound screen layout: a 10.25-inch digital driver display, two 7-inch auxiliary screens, and a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen. Built as an EV from the ground up, the Cyberster features an ultra-thin horizontal battery configuration to maximise cabin space and maintain a low center of gravity for precise handling.
On top of that, MG’s advanced battery technology also ensures reduced cell expansion and improved long-term durability. Available in four colours, namely Dynamic Red, Camden Grey, Inca Yellow and English White, the MG Cyberster pairs red and black interiors with Dynamic Red and Camden Grey, while the latter two feature grey interiors.
A red soft top is available for an additional RM2,000. The MG Cyberster comes with a comprehensive warranty package: 7-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty, 8-year/180,000 km battery warranty, and 8-year/160,000 km motor warranty. Buyers also receive one year of unlimited charging with JomCharge and a complimentary 7kW wallbox charger.
