Tragedy in the town of MARAN where a teacher of Religious Secondary School (SM) Al-Basriah Kuala Tembeling, Jerantut returning home turned into tragedy when he died after the car he was driving collided with a drilling machine lorry at Jalan Besar Jengka 20, here, on Saturday.
In this incident which happened around 9.30 in the morning, shows that a white Perodua Myvi was involved in a collision with an Isuzu lorry.
Maran District Police Chief, Superintendent Wong Kim Wai said the victim, Nurfarah Izyan Ismail, 28, died at the scene (you can see the left hand on the window edge).

According to preliminary investigations, it was found that the accident happened while the car was traveling from work at the school to his home in Sungai Gau, Temerloh.
“Upon arriving at the scene, the car lost control and entered the opposite direction and collided with the lorry. So the fault this time might not be with the lorry driver.
“The crash was deadly and the victim was confirmed dead on the scene while the driver of the truck, who is a 51-year-old man, broke his left thigh,” he shared in a media statement on Saturday.
According to them, two passengers, men aged 25 and 45, sustained minor injuries while another passenger, a 53-year-old man, was unharmed.
All of them were sent to Jengka Hospital for further treatment and observation and investigations were conducted in the same hospital.
“Further investigation continues and the case is being investigated in accordance with Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act (APJ) 1987,” he added.
