Strong August 2025 Sales Across All Brands

In August, BYD recorded 371,501 passenger NEV sales, supported by its diverse portfolio:

  • Dynasty & Ocean series: 342,838 units
  • Fangchengbao: 16,265 units
  • Denza: 11,993 units
  • Yangwang: 405 units

Additionally, passenger vehicle and pick-up exports reached 80,464 units for the month, reflecting BYD’s rapid international expansion into key markets across Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

January–August 2025: Nearly 2.9 Million Vehicles Sold

From January to August 2025, BYD achieved an impressive 2,863,876 units sold, underscoring the brand’s consistent global demand. During this period, total exports of passenger vehicles and pick-ups reached 630,728 units, highlighting BYD’s growing role in the global EV export market.

Since entering the NEV sector, BYD has now surpassed 13.4 million cumulative NEV sales, a landmark achievement that showcases its long-term leadership and innovation in electrified mobility.
