RM2.60/L for non-citizens

30/9: All Malaysian citizens

Key points of YAB PM’s announcement:
- Malaysians will be able to buy RON95 petrol at RM1.99 per litre starting 30 September 2025.
- For those who are not eligible, such as non-citizens, they will buy RON95 at a non-subsidized price, estimated at around RM2.60 per litre.
- All citizens, regardless of income level, who have an active driving license are automatically eligible to enjoy the benefits of BUDI95
- All citizens will receive a monthly BUDI95 eligibility ceiling of 300 liters but e-hailing drivers are exempt from the eligibility ceiling and can apply for a higher value….
If you usually pay at the counter, you can continue to pay as usual, just add your IC.
If you usually pay at the pump, you can continue as usual, just add your IC.
If you usually pay using petrol station apps like Setel, you need to verify your IC first (only once – you can do it now if you haven’t), then pay as usual.
