Chery Malaysia Celebrates Sales Excellence, Certifies 77 New Professionals and Launches Hybrid Expert Programme

Chery Malaysia hosted its Sales Advisors’ Appreciation Dinner.

Chery Malaysia recently celebrated the dedication and professionalism of its nationwide sales team at its Sales Advisors’ Appreciation Dinner. The event marked a significant milestone with the graduation of 77 Sales Advisors from the Chery Certified Sales Professional (CCSP) Programme.

Introduced in April 2025, the CCSP is a specialised, intensive course designed locally to elevate customer experience and strengthen product expertise. It is a mandatory certification for all Sales Advisors who have completed at least six months of service. The programme combines theoretical assessments and face-to-face evaluations after three months, ensuring sales personnel are professional, knowledgeable, and customer-focused. This training is crucial for confidently matching customers with vehicles that best suit their lifestyles and effectively communicating Chery’s diverse product offerings and advanced technologies.

Elevating the Chery Ownership Experience

Speaking at the dinner, Chery Malaysia Vice President, Lee Wen Hsiang, emphasised the critical role of the sales team. “Our Sales Advisors are the face of the brand. Their knowledge, confidence, and ability to guide customers are what truly shape the Chery ownership experience,” he said. As Chery’s technology and products evolve rapidly, the continuous training ensures every customer receives accurate information, sincere advice, and a memorable showroom experience. CCSP graduate Ashraf Mokhtar noted that the programme taught him to focus not just on the car, but on understanding what customers really need, making the process of finding the right car more meaningful.

Pioneering Hybrid Expertise

Building on the success of the CCSP (which has now entered its second cohort), Chery announced a new initiative: the Chery Super Hybrid Expert Programme. This upcoming programme is aimed at identifying and developing expert Sales Advisors specifically in the advanced Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) technology.

The Hybrid Expert Programme will combine theory and practical training in hybrid systems, sales communication, teamwork, and product expertise. The goal is to ensure every Chery showroom has at least one certified CSH expert available to guide customers and mentor junior advisors as plug-in hybrid vehicles gain traction in Malaysia.

Honouring the Nation’s Best

During the appreciation dinner, Chery Malaysia also recognised its Top 20 Sales Advisors nationwide for their exceptional performance and dedication. Top achievers honoured included Ivy Tan Shiuh Ling from Chery Bukit Mertajam, Sim Kee Hong from Chery Ampang, and Lim Kok Chuan from Chery Bukit Puchong. Ivy Tan remarked that the training and support from Chery helped her build real trust with customers, emphasizing that “selling cars isn’t just about numbers—it’s about understanding people”. Chery Malaysia continues its mission to build a strong, professional sales force that delivers excellence, innovation, and trust at every customer touchpoint.
