GAC AION V electric car was officially launched in Finland
On September 23rd, GAC’s global strategic model AION V was officially launched in Finland, following its entry into Poland and Portugal.
It offers a WLTP range of 510 kilometers and supports ultra-fast charging – it only takes 24 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. Coupled with Finland’s gradually improved charging network, it completely eliminates range anxiety for pure electric vehicle users.
The entry of AION V into the Finnish market is a key step in GAC’s “European Market Plan.” During the 2024 Paris Motor Show, GAC formally signed a global strategic partnership agreement with Inchcape.
The agreement stipulates that both parties will leverage their respective advantages, cooperate closely in key regions such as Europe, complement each other’s resources, and jointly promote the entry of GAC’s high-quality pure electric vehicles into the European market.
As a world-leading independent automotive retail group, Inchcape boasts a mature local sales and service network. Finland is the first market for cooperation between GAC and Inchcape. In the future, the two parties will gradually replicate their successful experience to expand into more European countries.

GAC also has a full sized MPV, the M8 which will be arriving in European markets very soon.
