This is the ‘Honda 0 Saloon’ which is a concept electric sedan and the flagship model of Honda’s new “0 Series” of EVs
First shown at the 2024 CES show and now at Japan Mobility Show 2025. The Honda 0 Saloon is the flagship electric vehicle (EV) in the upcoming Honda 0 Series, which is scheduled for a global launch in 2026This sleek sedan features a sleek, low-profile design, a spacious interior, and advanced technology like the ASIMO OS for personalization and Level 3 automated driving.
Expected to go into production in 2026, it represents a new direction for Honda’s EV future, focusing on a thin, lightweight dedicated EV platform for improved aerodynamics and design flexibility.










In the flesh, this car has a design which says it has a striking, low-slung, and sporty profile, with a sleek and smooth body (not as curvaceous as the all new Prelude. It features unique lighting elements and potentially uses cameras instead of traditional side mirrors like we have seen in some Korean and German popular auto brands.
Step inside, and you will see that it is designed to be very spacious, with a large and comfortable cabin. Features include a “steering yolk” and large displays along the length of the dashboard.
It is built on a dedicated EV platform that emphasizes a thin and lightweight construction, allowing for a lower floor height and a lower overall vehicle height, which contributes to better aerodynamics.
A key feature is the ASIMO OS working in the background which manages the vehicle’s systems and offers a personalized user experience, learning and adapting to user preferences.
Right now, this ‘Saloon’ is slated to begin production in 2026 and not to late please as the rivals from China will be looking at this and moving quickly to get a rival ready for market in 2026.
The first global production models are expected to launch in North America and Europe where EV take up is larger with higher incomes and more EV enthusiast.
The “0 Series” will also include other models, such as an SUV and a van, with the SUV already having its prototype revealed.
Features Level 3 automated driving capabilities and a steer-by-wire system for integrated control of steering, suspension, and brakes.
The ASIMO OS is designed to be highly interactive, remembering user preferences for things like music, color, and even recognizing emotional states to provide comfort.
