Launched with a price range between RM145,999 to RM185,999. This was the first KIA Sportage model to be offered under Dinamikjaya Motors distributorship.
The KIA Sportage is offered in four variants, the 2.0L, 2.0L High, 1.6T High, and 1.6T High AWD. The two engine choices on offer are a naturally-aspirated 2.0L Smartstream MPI 4-cylinder with a modest 154 hp and 192 Nm of torque output and a 1.6L turbocharged Gamma II direct injection engine with 177 hp and 265 Nm of torque. The 2.0L model is paired to a 6-speed conventional automatic while the 1.6L turbocharged model gets paired to a 7-speed DCT with an e-shifter.
Size wise, in case you have not had a closer look at this latest Sportage, it measures in at 4,660 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, 1,660 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,755 mm, which has hence allowed Kia to boast of ‘class-leading legroom, headroom, and luggage capacity’.
