Lynk & Co 900 EM-P Is A SUV With China’s Largest Front Screens

Lynk & Co 900 EM-P Dual 30-inch 6K displays are the biggest selling point for todays buyer

The Lynk&Co 900 EM-P shown here is a large, six-seat, plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV that serves as the brand’s flagship model. It features a luxury-focused interior with advanced technology, a powerful hybrid powertrain that uses a ternary lithium-ion battery pack from CATL (nickel manganese cobalt, or NMC). It supports DC fast charging at 70kW, allowing a 20-80% charge in about 28 minutes.

With its imposing 5.24 m length, 2m width, and 3.16m wheelbase it is a spacious three-row SUV with generous interior space.

This Lynk & Co 900 is positioned as the brands flagship luxury SUV designed to compete with models like the Aito M9 and Li Auto L9 in the Chinese market. However, for the Malaysian market, if it is launched here, it will compete with the Zeekr 009, its sibling and also the Xpeng X9.

It emphasises a combination of safety, luxury, and advanced smart technology, including features like dual-chamber air suspension and rear-axle steering.

Now, the biggest attraction is its cabin. The 900 EM-P cabin features a high-tech, luxurious interior with dual 30-inch 6K infotainment displays, a 12.66-inch digital instrument panel, and a 95-inch augmented reality (AR) head-up display.

It includes premium materials, 180-degree power-rotating second-row seats, advanced climate control with personalised zones, and a 23-speaker sound system, with options for a 31-speaker Harmon Kardon system and a rear-seat entertainment screen. The cockpit is powered by Snapdragon 8295 chips for responsive performance.

At the recent Guangzhou Auto Show 2025, its Dual 30-inch 6K displays was by far the largest integrated screen to be shown and it spans the dashboard, with one part for the driver and another for the passenger, powered by dual Snapdragon 8295 SoCs.

The vehicle offers numerous high end comfort technologies, starting with Nappa leather seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions in all rows. A 9-liter refrigerated compartment capable of cooling to -6°C so your sugar free and alcohol free drinks are great to consume.

There is a tri-zone intelligent climate control with a natural aroma diffusion system and 50W wireless charging pads in the center tunnel.

It also comes with Voice Control & Connectivity where nearly all in-car functions can be controlled via voice commands, and the system supports OTA (Over-The-Air) software upgrades.

For the driver, the Lynk & Co 900 EM-P is equipped with advanced hardware for smart driving capabilities, including LiDAR, high-resolution cameras, and radar. Higher trims are powered by the Nvidia Drive Thor AI processor, while lower trims use the Nvidia Drive Orin-X chips.

The car utilises the G-Pilot H7 or H5 systems, enabling functions like Navigate On Autopilot (NOA) for both highways and urban roads, which can operate without high-definition maps.

There is a comprehensive suite of ADAS features which includes:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Queuing Assistant.
  • Automatic Parking Assist.
  • Lane Keeping and Emergency Lane Keeping Assist.
  • 360-degree surround vision and real-time blind spot monitoring.
  • “Crab mode” for enhanced manoeuvrability and a “waltz U-turn” function made possible by its digital AI chassis and rear-wheel steering

By the way, did you know that Zeekr recently completed its acquisition Lynk & Co, with both brands to now be consolidated under the newly-formed Zeekr Group

Zeekr currently has a controlling 51% majority stake in Lynk & Co, with Geely Holding on to the remaining 49%. At the same time however, Geely is said to be planning to increase its stake in the latter to around 62.8%, which in turn sees for the parent company of both subsidiaries to still retain overall control.
