People Love The Ferrari Purosangue Because

To start, there is an iconic V12 Engine powering the Purosangue

Yes, this Ferrari features a mid-front-mounted, naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, an engine type synonymous with Ferrari’s heritage and a rarity in the crossover segment. It delivers an “operatic engine note” and linear, never-ending power that is characteristic of a true sports car, which is a major draw for sports car enthusiasts.

Auto enthusiasts and us love V12 engines primarily for their inherent smoothness, powerful performance, and exhilarating sound. The 12 cylinders are arranged in a way that creates a perfect balance, leading to vibrations being reduced significantly and power being delivered more evenly than in engines with fewer cylinders.

This makes them a popular choice for high-end sports cars and luxury vehicles where both performance and refinement are key.  Some thing an ‘electric car’ cannot deliver!

This V12 is positioned mid-front (behind the front axle) to achieve an optimal 49:51 weight distribution, which is crucial for sports car dynamics (something electric cars cannot deliver YET!).

Did you know that the Purosangue (meaning “thoroughbred” in Italian) was explicitly designed to be an authentic Ferrari sports car but it just happens to have four doors and a higher stance and it is not a SUV

It was the chief design officer, Flavio Manzoni that led a team in a five-year development process with the goal of creating a “Ferrari with practicality and space” that would not compromise the brand’s core identity or be a typical SUV. Key members of the exterior design team included Andrea Militello and Federico Acuto (Exterior Lead Designer)Its design is a “sculpture” (similar to the RX8) that priorities aerodynamics and performance while introducing innovative features for comfort and usability.

Despite its higher profile, Ferrari engineered the Purosangue to drive like its lower-slung stablemates through innovations like the world-first active suspension system and optimal 49:51 weight distribution. This allows for minimal body roll and agile handling that is unprecedented for a car of its size.

The Ferrari Purosangue’s cabin was designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre, under the direction of Flavio Manzoni. The team focused on creating a new, elegant design that departs from conventional SUV aesthetics, integrating form and function through a collaborative, iterative process.

It meets a growing market demand for a spacious, practical, and luxurious four-seater vehicle, while still delivering the uncompromising performance and driving emotion synonymous with the Ferrari brand.

Did you know that the interior uses luxurious materials, with a high percentage of the launch trim made from recycled polyester and other sustainable options, balancing opulence with modern environmental consciousness.

For the first time, Ferrari offers a vehicle with four individual, power-adjustable heated and AC seats, the largest boot in Ferrari history, and rear-hinged “welcome doors” for easy access. This newfound practicality means owners can use it for daily tasks, family trips, or long journeys without sacrificing the brand experience.

It incorporates cutting-edge vehicle dynamics control systems, including independent four-wheel steering and ABS ‘evo’, along with a host of driver assistance features and a high-end Burmester sound system, blending performance with modern luxury.

This Ferrari handles like a real sports car because it uses a world-first Multimatic active suspension system with 48-volt motor actuators, which actively controls body roll and wheel movement at high frequencies, providing exceptional handling on par with a sports car while absorbing road irregularities for comfort.

Get behind the rather complicated but easy to learn steering wheel and the Manettino dial allows drivers to select modes like Comfort, Sport, or Race to change the car’s characteristics. The power delivery is immediate and intense, propelling the Purosangue from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.3 seconds and where possible a top speed of 310km/h.

The wet eight-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission provides lightning-quick shifts, delivering an abrupt burst of power when needed and returning an engine note that cannot be imitated by the Xiaomi YU7 electric car from China.

Despite having large 22-inch front and 23-inch rear wheels with low-profile tires, the active suspension ensures a refined ride, effectively managing bumps and road imperfections around Klang Valley.

With the use of ‘Carbon-Ceramic’ brakes this Ferrari offer exceptional and consistent stopping power, with a firm pedal that inspires confidence to carry more speed into corners.

Fact, buying a Purosangue means owning a groundbreaking and highly sought-after piece of Ferrari history. Don’t look at the selling price. Just order one!
