Vauxhall Mokka GSE Electric Rally Car To Start Racing

Vauxhall Returns To Motorsport for 2026 ADAC GSE Rally Cup with the Mokka GSE Electric

This is the world’s first electric one-make European rally championship. The Future of Vauxhall electric rallying starts now as the manufacturer will be competing in the world’s first electric one-make rally championship in 2026 with the Mokka GSE Rally Car.

The Mokka GSE Rally is the first car currently being developed according to the FIA’s new eRally5 regulations, and with a peak power output of 281hp, it is more than twice as powerful as the Corsa Rally Electric (136hp). Backed up with 345Nm of torque and sophisticated motorsport technology, it promises performance on a par with a Rally4 car.

The rally car is closely related to the road-going Vauxhall Mokka GSE, sharing key components such as the motor (which produces an identical 281hp), inverter, battery and wiring harness. The Mokka GSE is the fastest electric vehicle in the Vauxhall range, achieving 0-62mph in 5.9 seconds

New Mokka GSE Rally replaces Corsa Rally Electric as the series’ competition car and it is the first car developed to FIA’s eRally5 regulations.

It has shared DNA with the road-going Mokka GSE, which is the fastest EV in Vauxhall’s range. This ADAC GSE Rally Cup showcases the performance and potential of electric vehicle technology within a competitive motorsport environment.
