smart #6 EHD is the brand’s first-ever sedan model, which features a sleek and modern fastback design.
The smart #6 EHD adopts a contemporary and sporty look that shares a design language with other new Smart models like the #1, #3, and #5.
The front is defined by a sleek, full-width light strip and slim air intakes, giving it a modern and clean appearance.
It features a sporty, coupe-like silhouette and a fastback-style boot. From some angles it resembles the Xpeng P7, NIO TE5 and a Xiaomi SU7 (see picture below)

The rear also includes a wide connecting taillight and a subtly concave boot lid. It also features a multi-stage active rear spoiler that can deploy or retract at certain speeds, similar to those on high-performance sedans.
It is a large vehicle, the largest smart model to date, stretching almost 4.9 meters long (4,906 mm), 1.92 meters wide (1,922 mm), and 1.51 meters tall (1,508 mm), with a 2.92-meter (2,926 mm) wheelbase.
While interior details are limited, the smart #6 EHD is packed with modern technology, hinting at advanced capabilities. Higher trim levels of other smart vehicles include a premium sound system, such as a Beats high-end 13-speaker setup or a Sennheiser system, so a quality audio experience is anticipated.

The smart #6 EHD is the largest smart model produced to date, with a long wheelbase of 2,926 mm (9.58 ft) and stretching almost 4.9 meters long (4,906 mm), 1.92 meters wide (1,922 mm), and 1.51 meters tall (1,508 mm). This generous dimensions, comparable to a Mercedes-Benz E-Class, suggests ample legroom and a comfortable experience for all occupants, much like the “mobile living room” feel praised in reviews of the smart #1. This makes it larger than a Toyota Camry and similar in size to a BMW 5 Series.
A prominent roof-mounted LiDAR sensor and various cameras indicate the presence of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
Buyers will have options to personalize their vehicle, including alternate headlight and taillight designs, different colored brake calipers, and a choice of 19-inch or 20-inch wheels.
The #6 EHD is smart’s first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). Interestingly, with recent models like the #1, #3, #5, and upcoming #2 all being fully electric, now comes this new #6 sedan showcasing a shift to premium EVs with hybrid options.
It utilises Geely’s NordThor Hybrid 2.0 system, combining a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor for a total output of 320 kW (approximately 429 hp).
The smart #6 EHD is expected to officially launch in China early next year, with uncertain availability in international markets like Europe and Malaysia.
