Chery Group had an incredible sales year in 2025, the best of any Chinese OEM.
Chery Group has once again cemented its status as China’s export king. In 2025, the automotive giant exported a staggering 1,344,020 vehicles overseas, maintaining its position as the top Chinese passenger vehicle exporter for the 23rd consecutive year.

The group achieved a total global sales figure of 2,806,393 vehicles, with exports accounting for nearly half of that volume. This export performance represents a year-on-year increase of 17.4%, highlighting the brand’s accelerating global influence.
One Car Every 23 Seconds
To visualize the scale of this operation, Chery revealed that on average, one Chery vehicle was exported every 23 seconds throughout the year.

This momentum helped the group cross a major milestone: 5.85 million cumulative exports to date. 2025 also saw monthly export volumes exceed 140,000 units for the first time in the company’s history.
Brand-by-Brand Performance Breakdown
1. Chery
The core Chery brand recorded annual sales of 1,700,940 vehicles.
- Tiggo 8: Remains a powerhouse, achieving its ninth consecutive year as the best-selling Chinese gasoline-powered mid-size SUV.
- Arrizo 8: The sedan maintained monthly sales exceeding 10,000 units for 16 consecutive months, with cumulative sales surpassing 450,000 units just 38 months after launch.

2. Jetour
The adventure-focused Jetour brand sold 622,590 vehicles.
- Jetour X70: Crossed the 1 million unit mark in cumulative sales in just seven years.
- Jetour Traveler: A rising star, achieving cumulative global sales exceeding 400,000 units.

3. Exeed: Premium Success in Europe
Chery’s premium arm, Exeed, sold 120,369 vehicles, finding particular success with its “globalized high-end new energy” strategy.
- Yaoguang C-DM Series: Now sold in over 19 countries, this model has broken into the top three sales rankings in its segment in competitive European markets like Spain and Italy.

4. iCaur (iCar): Electric Expansion
The new energy brand iCaur (known as iCar in China) recorded sales of 96,989 vehicles.
- Global Strategy: Models are exported under the iCaur marque or rebadged under the existing Jaecoo brand depending on the region.
- Key Markets: Initial export markets include our own, Thailand, and Russia. Notably, the iCar 03 is marketed as the Jaecoo 6 in some territories.

5. Luxeed: The Huawei Collaboration
Luxeed, the brand jointly developed with tech giant Huawei, sold 90,493 vehicles. Following updates to the Luxeed R7 and S7, the brand saw a strong finish to the year, with monthly deliveries exceeding 10,000 units for three consecutive months from October to December.
