Chery Malaysia is ushering in the Year of the Horse with a massive Chinese New Year campaign, offering Malaysian car buyers substantial savings and “ang pow” rebates across its SUV lineup.

Announced on 9 January 2026, the “New Year Prosperity Deal” offers cash rebates of up to RM16,888, along with special bonuses for those who choose to drive home in the colour of luck—Red.
The Big Ang Pow: Rebates up to RM16,888
Leading the festive charge is the brand’s flagship 7-seater, the Tiggo 8 Pro. Renowned for its premium features and Sony sound system, it is now offered with a massive RM16,888 rebate.

For those eyeing the C-segment SUV contender, the Tiggo 7 Pro comes with a generous RM11,888 in savings. These higher rebates for the PRO series are applicable to 2023 Year of Make (YOM) models.
“Red” Means Extra Luck (and Cash)
In a unique twist for the festive season, Chery is rewarding customers who embrace the “ONG” (luck) factor. Buyers who purchase selected models in Red will enjoy an additional RM1,000 rebate.
This “Red Bonus” applies to the following 2025 YOM models:
- Tiggo Cross (Turbo)
- Tiggo 7 PHEV

Valued at RM3,000, this extended coverage protects the battery pack, power motor, and control unit. Notably, this benefit is also extended to existing Tiggo 7 PHEV and Tiggo 8 PHEV owners.
