First Singapore appearance of the Dongfeng 008
Dongfeng stepped into the spotlight in Singapore with the launch of Dongfeng Vigo, alongside a first look at three models planned in right-hand-drive for the local market.
Built for urban life, Dongfeng Vigo pairs a compact body with smart space, flexible storage, and a connected cabin which is easy for daily drives, ready for weekend plans.
The first Singapore appearance of Dongfeng 008, Voyah Dream MPV, and the Dongfeng MHERO II offers a glimpse of what’s ahead which is showing how Dongfeng is preparing a broader lineup for different driving needs.

The Voyah Dream (or Dreamer pictured above) is a high-end luxury electric MPV (minivan) designed for premium comfort and performance. It features a 7-seat configuration, optional air suspension, and advanced technologies like Huawei HarmonyOS. Available as a Pure EV or PHEV, it boasts rapid acceleration (0-100km/h in 5.9s) and a high-tech cabin,
The PHEV version of the Dream offers a combined range of over 1,200 km, while the EV version provides a 650 km range. It features 4WD, with power outputs up to 420 kW and 840 Nm of torque.

Meanwhile, the Dongfeng 008 (or Yipai 008 in China pictured above)) is a luxury SUV launched in China in 2024. It is available as a 5-seat or 6-seat, family-oriented vehicle in both pure battery electric (BEV) and extended-range (EREV) models.
The 008 BEV variant (Battery Electric Vehicle) features an 82.28 kWh battery providing a pure electric range of approximately 636 km (CLTC). Then the EREV (Extended Range Electric Vehicle) uses a 1.5T engine as a generator to extend the range, offering a combined distance of up to 1,300 km.
The 008 cabin is minimalist, featuring a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital cluster, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and premium options like a smart refrigerator and a fold-down rear entertainment screen.
Then there is the Vigo. The Dongfeng Vigo is a compact electric SUV with a boxy, rugged design set for release in markets like Malaysia (under Volt Auto) and New Zealand in early 2026. It features a single front-mounted motor producing 184 PS and a 51.87 kWh battery offering up to 471 km of range (CLTC). It is positioned as a competitor to the popular BYD Atto 3, Proton eMAS 7 and MG S5 EV with the cabin featuring an 8.8-inch digital cluster, 12.8-inch infotainment screen, 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS.
