Honda Malaysia today announced its 2025 sales performance, totalling 72,301 units sold, representing 8.8% market share.
Honda Malaysia also continued to lead the market as the No.1 brand in the Non-National Passenger Vehicle Segment for the 12th consecutive year. This encouraging sales performance is attributed to its balanced product portfolio, strong demand for hybrid technology, and enduring customer trust.
Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Narushi Yazaki said, “I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to our customers for their continued confidence and unwavering trust in the Honda brand, which inspires us to keep raising the bar.
He added, “As we mark 21 years (2004–2025) since the introduction of our hybrid technology, strengthening the presence of our hybrid models across major segments remains a key priority. By integrating advanced hybrid technology, we aim to deliver an engaging and rewarding driving experience for every customer. We remain committed to driving long-term growth and supporting a more sustainable future for the Honda brand.”
Honda Malaysia continues to stand as a reliable and trusted choice for Malaysians amid increasing market competition and rapidly evolving customer expectations. This confidence was reflected in the consistent demand across its key sedan and SUV segments. Leading the company’s sales performance were the HR-V, City and CR-V, which contributed 25%, 24% and 15% of total sales respectively.



The Company also recorded a significant contribution from its e:HEV variants, with the HR-V and CR-V each accounting for more than 30% of total hybrid sales, making them popular choices among customers across Honda’s lineup. The continued popularity of Honda models further underscores the Company’s unique position in the market.
This strong connection with customers is a testament to Honda Malaysia’s goal of serving people through high-quality products and services, a long-term commitment the Company has upheld throughout its 25-year journey with Malaysians.
In October 2025, Honda Malaysia marked its 25th anniversary with the launch of the “Because of You” campaign, featuring a three-month lucky draw to thank customers for being part of its quarter-century journey. The first four lucky winners were announced last year, and today, the Company revealed the final two winners for December 2025, who drove home a City 1.5L RS and a HR-V 1.5L T V.

Mr. Cheah Wei Kong from Selangor entered the lucky draw after purchasing an e:N1. He was overjoyed to learn he was one of the winners of Honda Malaysia’s “Because of You” campaign.
He said, “When electric vehicles started gaining popularity, I was not sure if they could meet my needs for practicality, safety and ease of driving. But I decided to give the e:N1 a try because Honda has proven itself as a reliable, long-standing brand, consistently showing stability since its establishment in Malaysia.
