The Malaysian contingent takes home some awards at last year’s Asia Harley Days 2025.
The Malaysian Harley-Davidson community roared to victory at Asia Harley Days (AHD) 2025, securing a total of four prestigious awards—the highest number won by any single country in the Asia Emerging Markets region for the night.

Held from 21–22 November at the scenic Midwinter in Khao Yai, Thailand, the event saw Malaysian riders and builders outshine competitors from markets including South Korea, Taiwan, India, and Singapore.
Record-Breaking Rides and Custom Kings
Malaysia’s success was driven by individual feats of engineering and endurance.
- Outstanding Riding Achievement – Unique Record: This award was presented to Dato’ Anand and K.V.R. Sanjevee. The duo was recognised for achieving the highest ride on the Umling La Pass—the world’s highest motorable road—aboard a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy.

- H-D Custom Kings Asia – King of the Kings: In the custom build category, David Harrison took the top honour. His customised Electra Glide Highway King, named “El Patron,” wowed the judges. Harrison had previously qualified as a wild card finalist before representing Malaysia in the regional showdown in Thailand.

Community Strength on Display
Beyond individual achievements, the awards highlighted the strength and unity of the Malaysian riding community.
- Best H-D Community Event: The Desaru International Bike Week was named the best community event across Asia’s Emerging Markets, cementing its status as a premier gathering for petrolheads in the region.
- Largest Contingent to AHD: The HRB Motorcycle Club Malaysia took home this award for fielding the highest number of participants among all emerging markets outside of the host nation, Thailand.

A Night of Recognition
These four accolades underscore Malaysia’s passion for the Harley-Davidson lifestyle. By sweeping multiple categories, Malaysia distinguished itself as the standout performer among a competitive field that included the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Macau.
