Chery Malaysia has officially expanded its flagship SUV lineup with the introduction of a new, highly attainable seven-seater variant. Launched on January 16, 2026, the all-new Chery Tiggo 8 joins the family as a value-driven sibling to the Tiggo 8 Pro and Tiggo 8 PHEV, designed to make premium mobility more accessible to Malaysian families.

The new Tiggo 8 is powered by a 1.6-litre Turbocharged Gasoline Direct Injection (TGDi) engine paired with a smooth 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT). This powertrain delivers a robust 197 PS and 290 Nm of torque, ensuring strong acceleration and confident cruising. Despite its size and power, the SUV remains impressively efficient, with a fuel consumption rating of approximately 7.0 L/100km.
Spacious and Practical Design
With a length of 4,772 mm and a 2,710 mm wheelbase, the Tiggo 8 offers a stable and composed ride with a spacious interior. It is built for versatility, providing up to 1,930 litres of boot space—ideal for everything from daily grocery runs to long-distance balik kampung journeys. A one-touch power tailgate adds further convenience for effortless loading.
